2026 DECRON CRANBOURNE GOLD CUP

The Cranbourne Harness Racing Club is gearing up for its biggest race day when the 2026 DECRON Cranbourne Gold Cup is run on Saturday 31 January 2026.

More than $250,000 in prize money is available across the nine-race card, headlined by the $150,000 Group 1 DECRON Cranbourne Gold Cup and the $50,000 Group 2 Bruce Skeggs Memorial Cranbourne Trotters Cup, both of which will be run over 2555m.

The timing of the Inter Dominion series squeezed the DECRON Cranbourne Gold Cup out of its traditional December timeslot and into February, a move that Cranbourne Harness Race Club President David Scott believes is ideal in attracting the country’s best pacers.

    For the past seven years this event has been run in conjunction with WomenCan as a fundraising event and raised close to $35,000.
